Coronation Street bosses have filmed two outcomes to Frank Foster's trial to keep viewers guessing.
The evil businessman - played by Andrew Lancel - stands trial for the rape of his ex-fiancee and business partner Carla Connor, played by Alison King, and they have filmed scenes in which he is found both guilty and not guilty.
Andrew, Gwen Taylor - who plays Frank's mum Anne - and Sally Dynevor - who plays his girlfriend Sally - have been pictured in The Sun filming scenes in Manchester where they leave the court celebrating Frank's freedom.
But another picture shows Anne and Sally on the court steps alone with Sally comforting Anne after her son has been convicted of rape.
Viewers know Frank is guilty after watching the harrowing scenes leading up to his attack on Carla on the night before their wedding. But after Carla reported the rape to the police, Frank returned to Coronation Street proclaiming his innocence and branding Carla a liar.
It has previously been claimed by the Daily Star that Frank is found not guilty after showing pictures in court of Carla kissing married man and fellow recovering alcoholic Peter Barlow.
Jane Danson, who plays Peter's wife Leanne is due to leave the show on a break and it has been rumoured Frank will be killed off.
