The residents of Weatherfield are set to be left stunned in ‘Coronation Street’, when a minibus crash leaves 11 characters injured - with one fighting for their life.
While bosses are remaining tight-lipped on the details of the crash, it’s believed that one of the soap’s main characters could be killed off in the dramatic scenes, which will air in early 2015.

The Sun reports that the crash will involve the Underworld factory workers, who are on a work outing in a minibus driven by Steve McDonald, meaning Fiz Stape, Sally Webster and Sean Tully will probably be among those in the vehicle.
A ‘Corrie’ insider tells the paper: “Exact details are being kept under wraps but more than one character will be hospitalised and one life will be on the line.”
Factory boss Carla Connor hasn’t exactly had an easy ride lately, and it’s thought she will also be in the accident, along with Izzy Armstrong and Julie Carp.
While there hasn’t been a huge smash in ‘Corrie’ for a while, the street hasn’t been short on drama, and the residents are still reeling from the fallout of Tina McIntyre’s death.
