‘Coronation Street’ Spokesperson Forced To Deny That Scheduling Chaos Is Imminent

Reports state that 17 cast members are all taking holiday at the same time.

A ‘Coronation Street’ spokesperson has denied that the show is about to be thrown into chaos, thanks to 17 actors all going on holiday at once.

The Sun on Sunday claimed that new producer Kate Oates was set for a nightmare couple of months, thanks to holidays approved by the soap’s previous boss Stuart Blackburn.

According to the paper, stars including Tina O’Brien and Lucy Fallon, who play mum and daughter Sarah and Bethany Platt, all have summer breaks coming up, despite the fact they need to film scenes for huge storylines.

However, a spokesperson for the soap, has denied the claim, stating: “There is no issue at all with the number of people on holiday.

Kate has made a number of big changes since taking over on ‘Corrie’, and earlier this month, it was announced that by 2017, there will be six episodes screened a week.
