Courtney Act has delivered yet another show-stopping performance on Dancing With The Stars, the Australian version of Strictly Come Dancing, this time raising eyebrows by stripping off at the end of her routine.

So far this series, Courtney has sailed through the competition, topping the leaderboard with both of her performances, and this week was no exception.

This time around, each of the contestants delivered a performance that celebrated “the most memorable year of their lives”, with Courtney’s Tango routine serving as an exploration of gender.

Set to Joe Jackson’s Real Men, Courtney began the performance in full drag, but as it went on, was seen throwing off her wig, and removing her make-up.

As the performance reached its climax, Courtney’s partner Josh Keefe helped her spin out of her dress, leaving her standing alone in nude underwear and high heels.

The routine coincided with Sydney Mardi Gras, with Courtney sharing a video of the performance on Twitter, alongside the message: “Shine a light on every little part of you, especially the shadows that scare you the most!”

In the lead-up to the performance, Courtney teased on Twitter: “I cried at rehearsals today telling [choreographer] Kelley Abbey what my dance was about. It’s so cool to connect emotion with dance.

“I’m exited about tomorrow nights show [sic]”

Courtney first rose to fame in her native Australia as a contestant on Australian Idol, before later winning over a new legion of international fans on the sixth series of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Since then, she’s become a household name in the UK thanks to a stint on Celebrity Big Brother last year, going on to host the inclusive dating show The Bi Life.
