Expectant parents can hold their baby in their arms before it is born - thanks to developments in 3D printing technology (and if they really wanted to!)
A company called 3D Babies has developed a technique for making customised replicas of foetuses. They use 3D and 4D scans to get the correct facial features, body position and skin tone of the unborn child, and create the figurine using a 3D printer.
They planned to charge $200 to $600 for the dolls. However, it seems the market for their figurines quite what they were expecting, as they have failed to raise the money needed for a 3D printer.
