Opening your lunchbox to a measly ham sandwich and an apple can be a little uninspiring at the best of times, especially when you're four years old and all you want to do is run around in the sunshine pretending to be Batman.
Cue Dad to the rescue.
Recognising that school lunchtimes were in dire need of a creative overhaul, one artistic parent, Brent Almond, took matters into his own hands by popping hand drawn notes into his son's lunchbox every day.
While the drawings themselves are pretty super, we can't help but feel all warm and fuzzy inside by some of the heartwarming messages he writes alongside them.
If only someone did this for our packed lunches...
