Danny Dyer may be a “propa nawty” East Ender, but it seems he has some surprising connections to aristocracy.
It turns out the ‘EastEnders’ actor is actually related to one of the Royal Family.
Yes, really.
Danny is one of the stars who has had their ancestry explored for the upcoming series of ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’, and they uncovered his relation to the Royals when delving into his family history.
A TV insider told The Mirror: “People will be flabbergasted to discover the famous royal Danny is descended from.
Danny was born in Canning Town in the east end of London, and launched an acting career at the age of 16.
He became known for playing hard men after starring in string of violent films including ‘Football Factory’, ‘Adulthood’ and ‘Mean Machine’.
He then landed the role of Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter in ‘EastEnders’ in 2013.
Danny is not the first actor revealed to have a Royal connection, as it was previously uncovered that Johnny Depp is the Queen’s 20cousin.
The new series of ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ will see Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Sir Ian McKellen and Amanda Holden delve into their family history.
