David Beckham has sent his well wishes to the people who were left injured after his arrival in Shanghai triggered a stampede.
Seven people - including students, university staff and a security officer - were left injured as they tried to catch a glimpse of the former England captain at Tonji University on Thursday.
In a video message to those injured, Becks said: "I've heard that a few people got injured, one officer, who I want to send my love to and I hope you get well soon... speedy recovery, and I hope to see you soon."
Beckham, 38, is into his fourth day of his week-long tour and will be accompanied by wife Victoria at the weekend.
