The ‘Poker Face’ singer has had David’s iconic ‘Aladdin Sane’ album cover inked on her side, showing him with his memorable lightning bolt over his right eye.
Unveiling her new body art on her Snapchat page, she shared a pic which showed the tattoo artist giving Gaga her latest inking.

She then showed the finished product in all its glory, along with the caption ‘Blackstar’, referencing Bowie’s final chart-topping album, which was released just days before his death back in January.
Gaga's tattoo
This is far from Gaga’s first time going under the needle, though, and in the past she’s had the names of her albums ‘ARTPOP’ and ‘Born This Way’ tattooed on her, as well as a trumpet, sketched by her collaborator Tony Bennett.
Gaga is currently gearing up to perform a special tribute to David Bowie at this year’s Grammy Awards, having previously spoken on a number of occasions about what an inspiration he had been to her career.
Ken Ehrlich, who produces the Grammys, told the New York Times last month that Gaga's performance would last “six or seven minutes”, paying tribute to the man she’s repeatedly named as her biggest influence.
Gaga previously told the Hollywood Reporter: “[Bowie] is a true, true artist and I don't know if I ever went, 'Oh, I'm going to be that way like this,' or if I arrived upon it slowly, realising it was my calling and that's what drew me to him.
"I just know that you can use the theater of your imagination to entertain people beyond their wildest dreams and then you can put something inside of that that changes the world, and that to me is when you make something truly great as an artist.”
It was previously revealed that this year’s Brit Awards will also contain a tribute performance in Bowie’s honour, with reports suggesting it will feature Adele, Coldplay and Noel Gallagher, among others.
