David Cameron was greeted with a chorus of boos after Andy Murray singled him out when thanking the audience after claiming a straight sets victory at Wimbledon on Sunday.

After beating Canadian Milos Raonic, Murray was interviewed on Centre Court and paid tribute to the crowd who had cheered him to victory.

When he mentioned Cameron was among the audience, the crowded greeted the announcement with boos.

Murray was then forced to wait for the crowd to settle down before he could continue.

He added it was “impossible job” as Cameron watched on, next to his mother Mary.
