Veteran Labour MP Dennis Skinner has launched into an incredible live on air attack against BBC journalist Emily Maitlis.
'The Beast of Bolsover' was explaining how he would not be taking a job in Jeremy Corbyn’s Shadow Cabinet and told an old tale of a similar situation with Jim Callaghan in 1976.
Maitlis then joked about the "breaking news" of Skinner not taking a role - prompting an angry response from Skinner.
He said: "That was an example of spinning because you were trying to imply that I had turned it down.
"I think it’s time that you got real and you understood that you are not working for Murdoch at the BBC, because you seem to be following the same pattern."
Skinner then stormed off into the background promptly followed by - presumably - the sound engineer who realised he was about to rob them of a microphone.
And people online have been quick to defend Skinner's reaction.
