Dizzee Rascal, Malala Yousafazi, Ellie Goulding, Harry Potter actress Evanna Lynch and Jennifer Hudson – these famous figures may seem to have little in common, but they've been brought together by a shared passion for inspiring a generation of philanthropists.
On Friday March 7, 12,000 Year Six students from schools across the UK will gather in Wembley Arena for the first ever UK-based We Day festival.
At the day-long show organised by international charity Free The Children, the children will be treated to performances from prestigious acts including Ellie Goulding, Dizzee Rascal and Brit nominee Birdy.
Also taking to the stage to inspire the children to get involved in charitable work, will be education activist Malala Yousafzai, Academy award winning actress Jennifer Hudson, Harry Potter actress Evanna Lynch, Glee star Jacob Artist, US Vice President Al Gore, and Sir Richard Branson with his children Holly and Sam.
"It's so important for young people to understand issues that affect them and how they can play a role in being part of the solution," says Glee's Jacob Artist. "I'm so honoured to share the excitement of this movement with students across the UK for the first time."
The impressive line-up belies the fact this is a free event. Rather than pay for a ticket, the children in the audience will have earned their place there by undertaking at least one local and one global charitable act as part of the year-long WE Day programme, which Free The Children runs through schools.
Although this is the first time the UK has hosted a We Day event, they have been running in Canada and the US since 2007.
Collectively the young people who have committed to We Act over the past seven years have so far raised $37 million for more than 1000 local and global causes - including building more than 650 schools and school rooms, providing education to more than 55,000 children every day.
