DJ Neil Fox is due in the witness box today as he begins his defence against a string of assault charges spanning more than 25 years.

Fox, known to radio listeners at Foxy, denies all 10 charges against him, including allegedly simulating sex on a former colleague, approaching another woman from behind and grabbing her breasts, and "snog-raping" a 15-year-old girl at a Capital FM roadshow.

He was arrested minutes after coming off air at Magic FM in September 2014.

In police interviews, he said he had "no idea" why the allegations were made against him, but said at least one complainant was "fixated" with him while some young female fans would be overly affectionate towards him.

The trial, at Westminster Magistrates Court, began on November 6 but resumed yesterday after a break of nearly three weeks.

Fox, 54, of Fulham, south-west London, denies eight counts of indecent assault and two counts of sexual assault between 1988 and 2014.
