Workers on London’s Docklands Light Railway are to stage a 48-hour strike in a dispute over pay and other issues.
Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union employed as cleaners, security staff and travel officers, will walk out at 5.30am on Thursday.
The union said there had been a breakdown in industrial relations with contractors ISS.
RMT general secretary Mick Cash said: “We are supporting our members in this further phase of strike action in a bid to force management to honour agreements, pay staff their contractual hours and give their staff proper respect and dignity at work.”
The workers went on strike earlier this month.
