Doctors have removed a tumour weighing 5st 7lbs (35kg) from a woman who thought was pregnant.
The cancerous tumour was growing on the woman's ovary. She only went to hospital after she gained weight and complained of severe pain.
Dr Kawthar Mansour, gynaecologist at Al Qasimi Hospital in Iraq it was the largest ovarian tumour she'd ever seen.
The doctor told local news that the 31-year-old woman went to the hospital with a huge abdomen, thinking that she was six months pregnant.
An ultrasound scan revealed the massive tumour. She was advised to have surgery to remove it, but she initially refused.
The surgery was performed last Thursday and after the tumour was removed the woman's weight dropped from 16st 3lbs (103kg) to 10st 9lb (68kg).
The tumour weighed almost as much as 10 babies and had had a significant impact on the woman's life, the doctor said.
The woman, who doesn't want to be named, said she thought she was pregnant in the beginning, but when she felt severe abdominal pain and felt uncomfortable, she went to the hospital for a check-up.
She said: "I was shocked to find it was an ovarian tumour. I was living in a nightmare."
