Donald Trump Calls Hillary Clinton A 'Nasty Woman' During US Presidential Election Debate

'You know what a nasty woman is good at? Voting.'

Donald Trump interrupted Hillary Clinton in the final presidential debate on Wednesday night to call her “such a nasty woman”.

The Republican presidential hopeful went head-to-head with his Democrat counterpart in the final debate before next month’s election.

Clinton said “Donald thinks belittling women makes him bigger” and accused Trump of going after the “dignity” and “self-worth” of women.

In the closing moments of the debate, which took place in Las Vegas, Trump interrupted Clinton while she was answering a question to call her “such a nasty woman”.

Clinton had been talking about her proposal to preserve Social Security and Medicare.

Her plan, she said, would raise taxes on the wealthy, including her and Trump.

She said of the billionaire, who in the 1990s took nearly a $1 billion write-off for business losses: “Assuming he can’t figure out how to get out of it.”

As she continued talking Trump interjected: “Such a nasty woman.”

He raised his right hand to point his finger and shook his head, letting his mouth drop open in apparent disgust.

Clinton let the comment pass and continued pressing her case.

She told reporters aboard her plane after the debate, “I just didn’t pay any attention to that.”

Clinton tweeted the discrepancy between Trump’s comments about her and his claims earlier in the evening that he “respects women”.

The Twitter hashtag ‘nastywoman’ was trending on Thursday morning.

When Trump said that he respected women earlier in the debate, the audience broke out in laughter.

During the final debate, Trump also claimed the US presidential election was “rigged” against him.

He said that he may refuse to accept the result if he loses on November 8.

“I will tell you at the time, I will keep you in suspense,” he said when asked if he would accept the outcome of the vote,” Trump said.

Clinton branded the comment “horrifying” and said she was “appalled” Trump would try to discredit the election process and reject the democratic decision of the American people.
