Donald Trump's Slip Of The Tongue Suggests He Might Know He's Lost

"I guess time will tell."

Donald Trump has suggested for the first time he might know he’s lost the US election – despite not formally conceding.

In his first public remarks in over a week following his election loss to Democratic challenger Joe Biden, Trump gave an update on the coronavirus, which he said will be available for the entire population as soon as April.

In an apparent slip of the tongue, Trump said “who knows which administration it will be” when talking about a potential fresh lockdown.

He said: “Ideally, we won’t go to a lockdown. I will not go ... this administration will not be going to a lockdown. Hopefully the ... the whatever happens in the future, who knows which administration will be. I guess time will tell. But I can tell you this administration will not go to a lockdown.”

Considering that Biden reportedly won 306 electoral college votes, you’d think it’s a done deal.

But not as far as the president is concerned. He has made all sorts of bizarre claims that he really won the race.

For instance, Trump on Friday took credit for what the Department of Homeland Security called the most secure election in US history — and then he argued it was rigged.

The president’s comments attracted a lot of sarcastic political analysis from Twitter users.
