Donald Trump had a meltdown on Twitter on Tuesday evening as it dawned on him that Barack Obama was set to be re-elected as president of the United States.
The billionaire businessman and Mitt Romney supporter told his followers that the election was a "total sham and a travesty".
"Lets fight like hell and stop this great and disgusting injustice! The world is laughing at us," he said.
Trump's outburst led to widespread mockery both on Twitter and on the major US TV networks.
NBC's Chief White House Correspondent, Chuck Todd, told viewers after he was unexpectedly called on to speak: "Sorry, I had voices in my head ... and I'm not Donald Trump".
