Borussia Dortmund players and staff arrived at Stansted Airport eager to fly away from the disappointment of their Champions League final defeat to Bayern Munich at Wembley, only they were swarmed by a flash mob.
As Wikipedia accurately summarises, a flash mob "is a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and seemingly pointless act for a brief time". These hipsters are likely to be found under the hashtag #peoplewhoneedagoodhiding.
Their pointless act was sponsored by Dortmund's kit supplier Puma, who needn't wonder why should talks suddenly "break down" about renewing their contract with BVB.
Commendably, not one of the Dortmund players becomes violent as Primal Scream's overplayed "Movin On Up" blares out, and the majority diplomatically applaud the unimpressive mob.
