The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have settled in nicely to their Anmer Hall mansion in Norfolk and reports say the royal couple are loving life in the countryside.
William was gifted Anmer Hall by HM the Queen on his 30th birthday and the royal couple have renovated the property over the last two years making it the perfect weekend retreat for them and Prince George.
"Kate and William are country folk at heart. While their London home will be their base in terms of royal duties, Norfolk is where they want to bring up their family," a royal source told Graziamagazine.
While their Kensington Palace apartments are their permanent place of residence, Anmer Hall is where Kate and Wills spend their weekends unwinding with close friends who live close by and also have young children.
Not only that, but Wills has recently taken on a role as a helicopter pilot with the East Anglian Air Ambulance which starts next spring and is based close to their Norfolk home. So it's all worked out pretty nicely.
"The couple will get another dog and hope to have another baby while there," the source added. "When the two years are up they will spend weekdays in London, where George will go to school, but weekends in Norfolk allowing them to have a normal family life.
"William spent a lot of time in Norfolk growing up and has a proper crew there. All his old friends have young children who will be perfect playmates for Prince George.
"It's very sociable in the area and Kate really loves the Norfolk lifestyle."
