Dylan Crean Murder: 22-Year-Old In Court Charged With Killing 3-Year-Old

Man In Court Over Murder Of Three Year Old

A 22-year-old man is to appear in court today charged with the murder of a three-year-old boy.

Dylan Crean was found with life-threatening injuries at a property in Albert Village, Swadlincote, on the Derbyshire-Leicestershire border, in September.

He was taken to Derby Royal Infirmary and later moved to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham, where he died.

Peter Cawser, the partner of Dylan's mother, is charged with the child's murder and two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Cawser, of Moira Road, Woodville, Swadlincote, is due to appear at Leicester Crown Court today for a plea and case management hearing.
