'EastEnders' character Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) is set to start his own investigation in the coming weeks, as he tries to work out who his daughter Lucy Beale (Hetti Bywater) was secretly dating before she was murdered.
However Ian’s search doesn’t get off to a very good start when he accuses David Wicks (Michael French) of being Lucy’s mystery man.
Ian thinks David was having a secret relationship with Lucy
It doesn’t take long for the level-headed David to work out what’s going on though, and after his discussion with Ian, he makes a beeline for Max Branning - who enjoyed numerous romantic trysts with Lucy.
But will Ian eventually find out Max was seeing his daughter?
The whole Beale household is still reeling from the news of Lucy’s murder, and things don’t get any better when Lola Pierce discovers internet trolls are targeting the the late businesswoman.
Viewers know Max is the mystery bloke
Fans will have to wait until February 2015 to find out who is responsible for Lucy’s murder, but that hasn’t stopped everyone - including the cast - from giving their predictions on who is responsible.
Elsewhere on the Square, Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) and his family are putting on a united front, after realising that Lee’s brief fling with Lucy makes him a suspect.
Tune in to ‘EastEnders’ on 1 May to see the events unfold.
