Pam tells The Mirror: “I still watch it but it’s difficult to keep up. I think I have a rotting brain.”
Although her former co-star Barbara Windsor claimed at the time of Pam’s departure from ‘EastEnders’ that she hadn’t wanted her character to be killed off, she’s also now admitted the benefits that come from not being in Albert Square.
“I’ve got time for charity and for travel, I love it and I’ve got time to work, the only pity is I can’t manage all the things I’m offered – everyone’s used to me being on screen permanently.”
Let’s hope Pam can keep up this New Year, as ‘EastEnders’ have a jam-packed double bill planned that is sure to leave fans stunned.
