‘EastEnders’ bosses have announced the departure of yet another of its stars, confirming that Claudette Hubbard actress Ellen Thomas is leaving the soap.
The actress has starred as the villainous Claudette on and off since March 2015, but in the coming weeks, she’ll make her final appearance.
A spokesperson for the show tells Digital Spy: “As our regular viewers will know, Claudette has often been seen coming and going from the Square to visit her family and friends.
It’s been a big month for ‘EastEnders’ exits and Ellen is the fifth star to announce their departure in recent weeks.
It was previously confirmed that both Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell, played by Samantha Womack and Rita Simmons, are leaving as part of an “explosive” storyline, while the Carter family will also lose another family member.
Masood Ahmed actor Nitin Ganatra also announced his decision to leave Walford behind earlier this month.
