Happy Birthday Elvis!
Had he lived, the king of rock n' roll would have been 78 years old today.
Presley was born on January 8 in Tupelo, Mississippi and died of a heart attack and suspected overdose on August 16, 1977.

Presley's home Graceland is currently hosting an exhibition of jumpsuits the singer wore during his Hawaii concerts.
Entitled 40th Anniversary of 'Aloha From Hawaii', it also features never-before-seen footage of Elvis on board a boat to Hawaii in 1957 and colour film of his first concert.
Memphis will also see Presley's childhood friends Sam Bell and Guy Harris join historian and filmmaker Roy Turner to host a talk about the singer's time in Tupelo.
Birthday cake will be served at the free event at the Bijou Theatre at Graceland, the Northeast Mississippi News confirmed.
Being dead does not seem to have diminished the King's sex appeal however, after a Utah school district which banned the Elvis play All Shook Up for being too racy, reversed its decision.
A song and snippets of dialogue considered to be sexually explicit will be dropped from the production, but the show will go on, the Associated Press reported.
