From the outside looking in, it's natural to think celebrities are free from anxiety and live the perfect life.

But we can learn a thing or two from Emma Watson who admits life isn't always as easy as it looks.

"When I was younger, I just did it. I just acted. It was just there. So now when I receive recognition for my acting, I feel incredibly uncomfortable. I tend to turn in on myself, I feel like an imposter," she told Vogue UK.

It's hard to believe, considering Watson is the face of UN Women's #HeForShe movement and launched it with an empowering speech that went global.

She says that wasn't an easy ride either.

The night before the speech she confided in a friend and said she couldn't do it because she was "terrified".

She said her friend told her via Skype: "Go through it again and ask yourself, if you were hit by a bus tomorrow, would you be comfortable with every single line?".

Giving her the boost she needed to get up on stage, Watson said she overcomes moments of doubt by asking herself similar questions: "If not me, who? If not now, when?"

Ultimately, the biggest push and motivation for her is that she believes "if we do nothing, nothing will happen".

The actress also admitted part of her relaxed after she took the position of Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women because it gave her a sense of belonging and purpose.

And we're glad, because we think she's brill.
