‘Emmerdale’ viewers took to Twitter to praise the soap on Monday (17 October), following a series of emotional scenes between Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden.
The episode, which almost exclusively featured Robron, saw Robert’s plan to propose go wrong multiple times, but a number of heartwarming moments between the couple delighted viewers.
One saw Robert attempt to explain his bisexuality to his partner, while in another, he opened up about discovering his sexuality at the age of 15.

Each of this week’s episodes will focus on a different character set, until Thursday’s (20 October) second show, which sees their stories come together in an explosive fashion.
On Friday, we will then say goodbye to at least one character - and yes, it could be Aaron or Robert. *gulp*
