‘Emmerdale' Episode Pays Tribute To Toddler Who Played Marlon Dingle's Son

Thursday’s night episode of ‘Emmerdale’ was dedicated to toddler Harry, who played Marlon Dingle and Rhona’s son Leo.

Soap bosses have confirmed that Harry sadly died last week, and on 10 July, a message appeared on the screen after the soap stating: “To Harry, With Love.”

Mark Charnock, who has played Marlon Dingle since 1996, paid tribute to the youngster on Twitter, sharing a snap of Harry.

Following the episode, plenty of fans shared their condolences online, prompting a response from Mark, who wrote: “Thank you all. We’ll all pass on your overwhelming response to Harry’s amazing family.

“Thank you for all your kind words. It means a lot. Xx”

A statement from ‘Emmerdale’ bosses reads: “Very sadly we can confirm Harry Whittaker's passing last Tuesday 1st July.

“We will all miss him greatly and have offered our sincerest condolences to his family at this very sad time."

Harry and one other child played baby Leo, who was first introduced in 2011.
