Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are proud new parents to a little baby girl.
According to US Weekly, the extremely private couple welcomed their first child on Friday 12 September.
Eva had not even officially confirmed her pregnancy and, back in February, laughed off rumours she was expecting on the Ellen DeGeneres show. She said: "It's so ridiculous. It all started because I didn't want to go through the scanners at the airport. You know those X-ray scanners, which are really creepy? They basically see you naked, right? And not only that, but there's a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out."
Ryan, 33, has never been shy, however, about his wish for babies. According to the Daily Mail, he once said: "I'd like to be making babies but I'm not, so I'm making movies.
"When someone comes along, I don't think I'll be able to do both and I'm fine with that. I'll make movies until I make babies."
Well, let's hope he changes his mind about that.
And US Weekly reports that the actor has already been hands-on, with a source saying: "[Eva's] been wanting pasta, and he's cooking her meals. Ryan has already stepped into the role of caring father-to-be." Awww.
Eva and Ryan met on the set of their movie the Place Beyond The Pines in 2011.
News broke they were expecting a child when Eva was already seven months pregnant in July.
