Former Another Level star Dane Bowers will appear in court on an assault charge.
Musician and DJ Bowers, 35, has denied one count of assault by beating against his ex-fiancee Sophia Cahill in Croydon, south London, in January.
He will appear on conditional bail at Croydon Magistrates' Court.
Bowers, a former Brit School student, found fame in the late 1990s as a member of R&B band Another Level.
After the group disbanded he sang a duet, Out Of Your Mind, with Victoria Beckham.
He went on to appear in Celebrity Big Brother in 2010, finishing as runner-up cage fighter Alex Reid, the then-husband of model Katie Price - whom Bowers himself had previously had a relationship with.
Bowers has also appeared in the reality-documentary show The Big Reunion on ITV2 where he was part of a band called 5th Story with fellow solo singers Gareth Gates, Kenzie, Kavana and Adam Rickitt.
