When you've just found out that you're pregnant with twins the world goes silent for a few moments. It's like an explosion has just gone off in your brain as you deal with this new information. All you can see is the two blobs on the ultrasound screen. Your tongue won't move in your mouth and you can't hear what the sonographer is saying because that last word they uttered has literally blown your mind. You're having TWINS!
The ultrasound blob on the screen is wobbling in front of you and if it seems like you're suddenly seeing double it's because you are. You, yes you, are going to be a mum to twins. It's happening now and there's nothing you can do about it!
There are a few reactions that make sense in this scenario and every twin mum will have a different one...here's the general thought process...
