The Easter-themed charity egg hunt features more than 200 unique eggs, each crafted by one of a selection of leading artists, designers, architects and jewellers, hidden across the capital.
Hunters have just 40 days and 40 nights to track down as many of the eggs as they can following hints and clues as well as a smattering of good old-fashioned looking around. Participants can check which eggs are nearby by consulting the twelve zone maps but after finding out the general direction you should be heading and whether it's indoors or outdoors, you're on your own. For those of you with smartphones you can also use the Facebook app to check in when you've found one.
Just a small selection of the egg-hunt eggs!
If you're hoping to be in with a chance of winning the Diamond Jubilee Egg (a Faberge 18 carat gold creation encrusted with 60 gems and worth an impressive £100,000) you can also text the keywords you'll find next to each egg to be entered into the prize draw. Alternatively you can bid on your favourite eggs at auction or tuck in to Eggs Faberge - a series of egg-based culinary creations being served up at a dozen of London's top restaurants.
Money raised from all the eggy activities will go to benefit two charities - Elephant Family and Action For Children.
Get a sneak peek at some of the eggs (the half-dozen sponsored by Baku magazine) being installed ready for the hunt - who knows, you might get some extra clues to assist your search!
