Families are facing an anxious wait to hear if their loved ones were among those killed in the Shoreham air crash disaster.

The search for bodies of those killed in the tragedy is continuing, as a coroner warned that identifying the victims will be a "slow and painstaking operation".

Four men have been named as among those killed, and two more have been identified as missing, after the 1950s Hawker Hunter jet crashed into the busy A27, exploding into a fireball.

Sussex Police said they believe 11 people died in Saturday's tragedy in West Sussex, but warned the death toll could rise as further debris is cleared.

Motorcyclist Mark Trussler and Daniele Polito, a father from Worthing, are both missing and are feared to have been killed in the tragedy.

Mr Trussler's fiancee, Giovanna Chirico, told of her heartbreak on social media. She wrote on Facebook: "Just want u bk home – feeling heartbroken" along with four crying emojis.
