A father has been jailed for texting his teenage daughter naked pictures of himself.
The Army serviceman sent nude photos of himself and told her to respond with naked images of herself.
On two occasions he sexually touched her when they were alone in a car and then asked her to perform oral sex on him, which she did.
The girl's horrific ordeal was revealed at Truro Crown Court, which heard that the girl had had no contact with her father until 2008, when she found him on Facebook.
She contacted him but they then lost touch when the father began a new relationship.
However, when that ended in 2012, the dad, who cannot be named for legal reasons, started texting his child and his messages soon became sinister.
The girl, frightened of being rejected, did as she was asked, before meeting up with her father. Police were called when the man's ex-girlfriend discovered messages the pair had exchanged.
Rupert Taylor, defending, said his client was suffering from combat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), the local paper reported.
But Judge Christopher Harvey Clark, QC, said the defendant had manipulated and betrayed his daughter.
On Friday the man was sentenced to 30 months after admitting four counts of sexual activity with a child family member.
