Fearne Cotton is back, baby. After giving birth to her son Rex in February this year Fearne has returned in the Celebrity Juice panel hot seat and back to playing grungy-gorgeous cover girl.
She's talking her twenties style, body image, work and love disasters in an exclusive interview with Cosmopolitan for their October issue. The look? Let's just say the lady does leather and red lippy like a boss.
Post-baby Fearne says: "I don't give a crap what people think anymore. Since I had Rex I'm like, wow, I can't believe my body did that! I've got boobs and a bum. I don't know if it's all still expanding hip-wise from giving birth, but I'm in no rush to get back into shape. I don't care if I'm on holiday and my stomach's hanging out."
And we thought we couldn't heart Fearne any more, we ruddy LOVE this body-happy mentality.
On growing up Fearne told the mag: "As a teenager I was quite happy with the way I looked, but my twenties weren't so easy. I spent so much time worrying because I felt I didn't fit into any particular category. I used to think, 'Am I really girly and glamorous? Am I a tomboy? Am I a girl next door?' Getting into TV and doing shows like Top Of The Pops and photo shoots definitely made me more body conscious – you're meant to be a 'thing' in TV, and I never knew what I was."
Fearne also reveals that: "My rock-bottom moment was probably a failed engagement when I was 29. That felt pretty crap. It was around the time of the royal wedding so there was this big thing about marriage everywhere, but my life was the opposite of that. I thought, 'Oh, that's me then. I'm not going to meet anyone now.'
"Plus, I've always wanted kids so I started to think, 'Should I adopt one day?' What you don't know at the time is that as one door closes, another opens – and, soon after, I met the love of my life and got to have a baby."
It's ALL shiny and happy for Fearne now and she's clearly head over heels for Jesse Wood and has even hinted that marriage is on the cards:
"I'd love to get married and I'm sure Jesse would too, but we don't have any plans yet – we're so hectic with a baby and two other kids [Jesse's two children Arthur, 11, and Lola, seven], and we're both working. I think it's important to feel like a family unit though."
