Fears are growing for a Japanese musician who went missing in Britain during a tour.

Sho Teshigawara had been touring the UK with his group the Yamato Drummers since January. The 19-year-old was last seen by his bandmates at G Live in Guildford around 2pm last Thursday (28 February).

The last confirmed sighting of him was at Dorking train station at around 6.30pm on the same day. It is believed he had planned to take the 6.37pm train to London Victoria.

The Yamato Drummers are due to perform at the Peacock Theatre in Holborn from 12 March and there is a chance he may have been intending to travel there.

Sho speaks very little English and is not believed to have much money with him, and officers and his family are becoming increasingly concerned for his safety.

He was last seen wearing a dark jacket and green khaki trousers, and was carrying a blue rucksack.

If you have seen Sho, or if you were travelling on the 6.37pm train from Dorking to London Victoria, please call 101 or contact Surrey Police, quoting reference PR/45190022089.
