Benefit delays, food waste and hungry children sent home to a cold house with empty cupboards are just some of the heartbreaking stories to emerge from hundreds of interviews in today's report into Britain's hidden food poverty.
The Feeding Britain report, from the All Party Parliamentary Group for Hunger and Food Poverty was prompted by concern over the "unprecedented" numbers of people depending on food banks in the UK.
