Female scientists have united on Twitter with the hashtag #DistractinglySexy in response to "sexist" comments made by Cambridge PhD graduate, Sir Tim Hunt.
The Nobel laureate told a group of Korean scientists that the "trouble" with "girls" in science is that they fall in love easily and cry when criticised, and even suggested that the field of science would benefit from "single-sex laboratories".
Hunt has since issued an apology for his remarks and has resigned from his post at University College London, but this hasn't stopped female scientists from showing him a piece of their mind...
