Florent Malouda provided football's tweet of the year following rumours he could join Birmingham City.
Former Chelsea winger Malouda was unimpressed by the suggestion he could join a Championship club, and expertly crowbarred a contemporary reference in when tweeting his thoughts.
"Just saw another story linking me with a championship club," he said. "I don't know any Lee Clark [Birmingham manager]. Must be ice bucket challenge collateral damage ..."
The 34-year-old, who won the Premier League, three FA Cups and the Champions League with Chelsea, is a free agent after leaving Trabzonspor in the summer.
