The terrified boy had to be rescued by firefighters while he clung on to the window bars in Guangyun, Sichuan Province, China, reports Quicky China News.
Two people were seen at the window holding on to his clothing, to make sure he didn't slip and fall five floors below.
When they arrived, firefighters immediately tied the boy to the window grid using ropes to prevent him from falling.
They then used a chainsaw to cut open a hole in the grid and the little boy held on as sparks from the metal cutting tool flew across the window.
