A vast sinkhole roughly half the size of an Olympic swimming pool has been repaired in just a week.
The chasm appeared in the southern Japanese city of Fukuoka last week, devouring a four lane intersection and leaving adjacent buildings teetering.
Miraculously, the 98ft long and 46ft deep hole claimed no victims.
Even more miraculously, the gargantuan hole was swiftly filled and the road has reopened.
According to local media, the hole was filled in just two days and within the week, the site was declared safe.
Just keep that in mind next time you’re forced to add 15 minutes to your journey because of a cordoned off pothole…
