Gary Barlow has announced that he will not be heading abroad for the 'Judge's House' episodes of the new X Factor series.
The Take That singer has made the decision to base himself in the UK while the other three judges head off abroad.
Barlow, who had planned to go to Mallorca, Spain, for the round where the judges whittle their contestants down to their final teams, has opted to find an alternative London venue and stay close to his family as they continue to recover from the loss of their stillborn daughter the weekend before last.

The singer who joined the show last year has also decided to miss today's big launch of the new series, due to start on Saturday evening.
The singer and his wife Dawn announced last week that they were grieving for the loss of their stillborn daughter Poppy. She was the couple's fourth child - they are also parents to Daniel, Emily and Daisy.
Barlow was praised by friends and fans after he put aside his feelings to give a bravura performance with his Take That bandmates at the Olympics Closing Ceremony at the weekend. Their rendition of their hit Rule The World was considered one of the highlights of the night.
He sent his best wishes to the other three X Factor judges - Nicole Scherzinger, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh - who will be there today to meet the press and introduce a screening of the first show.
