PRESS ASSOCIATION -- Mathew Horne has revealed plans for a Gavin And Stacey Christmas special next year.
The 32-year-old actor - who rose to fame alongside James Corden, Joanna Page and Ruth Jones in the hit BBC TV show - told the Daily Mirror the cast are planning to reunite for a one-off special of the comedy about an Essex lad and his Welsh wife's cultural clashes.
Mat said: "There won't be another series, but there are talks about something next year, perhaps a Christmas special.
"It's been mooted but there is no script and no dates, nothing like that.
"It would be lovely to work with everyone else again - as long as the script is right, which inevitably it will be."
Mat plays Horrid Henry's father in new children's film Horrid Henry: The Movie, but revealed he is still recognised all the time for playing Gavin.
He said: "It hasn't died down - if anything it's intensified purely because it is on all the time."
