A seven-year-old girl has become an internet sensation after she astonished judges on Norway's Got Talent with her perfect rendition of a Billie Holiday song.

Angelina Jordan Astar sang Gloomy Sunday, a song about loss and suicide. But to the astonishment of viewers around the world, she perfectly mimicked Holiday's gravelly voice to convey the emotion behind the song.

Angelina, who has been taking singing lessons for four years, said: "I felt something special about it, it's hard to explain in words.

"When I sang it for my mum, she said that this song is nice, but it was an incredibly sad song."

Gloomy Sunday was written in 1933 by Hungarian composer Rezso Seress, who later killed himself. The song became widely known after it was covered by Billie Holiday in 1941.

At the last count, Angelina's version had been viewed 1.7 million times on YouTube.
