Glastonbury 2016: The Weather's Not Looking Great, As These Pictures Prove

Wellies are definitely going to be a necessity.

Monday (20 June) might mark the official start of British summer, but new photos of Worthy Farm, where the music festival is held each year, tell a rather different story, which doesn’t exactly bode well for those heading down there in the next couple of days.

New snaps show that wet weather conditions have already turned the festival site into a muddy haven… and that’s before anyone has even arrived.

We’re afraid the bad news doesn’t stop there, either, with the Met Office having already issued a “yellow warning” for the upcoming days.

A little bit of rain has never managed to dampen (we know, we’re sorry) spirits at Worthy Farm before though, and with a line-up that includes everyone from Electric Light Orchestra to Jeremy Corbyn, there’s something for everyone.

The best of British are also taking up headlining slots at this year’s festival, with Coldplay, Muse and Adele all being given the honour of closing the show on the Pyramid stage this year.
