Glastonbury weekend's Friday headliners The Arctic Monkeys have set the performing bar high with their evening set on the Pyramid Stage.
The Sheffield rockers delighted the crowds with songs including 'Crying Lightning', as well as tracks from their new album, like 'She's Thunderstorms'.

There was no surprise that 'I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor' proved the biggest hit of the night, with dancing duly carried out by the tens of thousands who crammed into the field to see the set.

Kathleen Pavey, 17, from Bristol, said: "They've been really good at getting the crowd going - but we would have preferred to hear more of the older songs." (Read the Guardian's review here)
Rapper Dizzee Rascal had preceded the band, performing such crowd pleasers as 'Bonkers'.
Rita Ora was another favourite with the Pyramid set, surprising them with her version of N.E.R.D.'s 'She Wants To Move' as well as her hits. And, inevitably, she told the crowd, "We're making love. No war tonight."

On the Other Stage, trip hop act Portishead headlined, the voice of Beth Orton providing a more relaxed and refined atmosphere than that at the frenetic Pyramid Stage.
Revellers staying up until the early hours were also being given the chance to see Radiohead singer Thom Yorke's Atoms For Peace performing a secret set that did not appear on the official line up.
