Australia Fashion Week kicked off on Monday with collections from a number of rising fashion stars down under and after day two of the shows, there are already a few beauty notes to be made.
After inky gothic eye makeup made its appearance on the Chanel couture catwalk in January, Aurelio Costarella and White Sands followed suit with their own takes on heavy, black eyeliner.
Elsewhere, metallic eye makeup brightened things up, along with neon lips at Manning Cartell and Kate Sylvester.
As for the biggest trend so far? Neutral tones were seen on the lips, eyes and cheeks at many of the S/S shows. Glossy, slightly tousled hair accompanied these simple but chic looks and yep, the no mascara rule applied.
