Gold proved to be the colour of the night at the Glamour Women of the Year awards in New York City on Monday night with Jennifer Lopez, Emma Stone, Lea Michele and Arianna Huffington all arriving in golden gowns.

The hues ranged from the pale shimmering cream of J Lo's Versace through to the old gold of Emma Stone's Lanvin as the nominees arrived for the ceremony. Lea Michele seemed to be taking a leaf out of Kate Middleton's book as she opted for a sparkling Jenny Packham.
