Katie Price made quite the entrance during Tuesday’s Good Morning Britain, running in late after getting stuck in traffic.
During the live show, Katie was seen sprinting into the studio dressed in tracksuit bottoms and trainers, before taking her place to be interviewed.
“I’ve got no make-up on at all,” she said as she ran past a camera, to which Piers Morgan responded: “Good, it’s probably improved things, sit down.”
The reality star continued: “I’ve just woken up in the car, look at me. I haven’t got any make-up on, I just woke up, like, ‘we’re here!’.”
Katie was appearing on GMB along with her mum, Amy, who was there to discuss her incurable lung condition, and seemed unconvinced at her daughter’s excuse as to why she was late.
“Shut up moaning, mum,” Katie – who was seemingly unaware she was on live television – hit back. “Jesus. We’re not live, are we?”
But, of course, she was.
“No we’re not, you’re winding me up,” Katie laughed, before noticing the monitors in front of her and realising that, indeed, she was broadcasting live to the nation.
She and her mother then continued their scheduled interview about idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, which Amy was diagnosed with in 2017.
Katie wrote on Twitter at the time: “My mum is a fighter. She is working out every day, going to work and living life to the full… please help us in supporting the British Lung Foundation so we can make a difference.”
Good Morning Britain airs every weekday from 6am on ITV.
