We've got bad news if you're a browser with something to hide: it turns out 'Incognito Mode' for Google Chrome on iOS isn't quite so incognito after all.
British company Parallax has found that while opening an incognito tab is supposed to keep your browsing history out of the phone's memory, since a recent update your history is actually being stored in Google's mobile website.
If you search in the mobile website box - though not the unified search bar - your prior web addresses will show up in all their probably quite embarrassing glory.
This looks like an inadvertent bug, but it's worth being aware of if you're searching for birthday presents or Christmas gifts already. Ahem.
